Our Story is simple - we created The Joey Vitale Memorial Foundation with one goal in mind, to #payitforward. In doing so we will honor Joey's legacy while continuing to drive his dreams and passions forward.

Our Mission
The Vitale Family has established the Joey Vitale Memorial Foundation to honor the life of Joseph A. Vitale by recalling the zest in which he lived, and the love he shared with others. The Foundation seeks to emulate Joey's joyful spirit while continuing to drive his dreams and passions forward. It is our goal to bring to others the same joy that Joey brought to ours.
HOW WE GIVE
Joey Vitale Culinary Scholarship
The Foundation’s primary mission is to empower youth through education. In conjunction with Kent Career Technical Center, we will fund a scholarship to graduating KCTC student/s in Joey's memory. Each recipient must demonstrate integrity, culinary, and academic excellence.
JOE BLUE Start-up Grant
Our secondary mission is to drive agricultural and environmental sustainability, ideally benefitting the State of Michigan. We will award students/entrepreneurs with funding for an innovative start-up business which demonstrates an impactful change to ongoing environmental issues.
Fund Local Projects
With this initiative, our goal is to improve social and community well-being, especially for those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
